“The most impactful leaders are those who empower others to recognize their own potential.”

“The most impactful leaders are those who empower others to recognize their own potential.”

Ananya Bathula is a dedicated high school student leader whose commitment to service, environmental stewardship, and student entrepreneurship reflects the values at the heart of the Soaring Eagle Alliance.

Through her roles in National Honor Society, Key Club, Red Cross Club, and as Co-Vice President of Sustainable Spark at her high school, she has consistently demonstrated that leadership is a responsibility to lift others and create lasting community impact.

As Co-Vice President of Sustainable Spark, Ananya has led environmental initiatives, coordinated recycling projects, and partnered with a local middle school to expand student involvement in sustainability efforts. Her work with Key Club and the Red Cross has included clothing and food drives as well as outreach supporting underprivileged children and veterans—experiences that reinforced her belief that even small, collective actions can produce meaningful change.

Ananya further channels her passion for student opportunity through her role as Business & Marketing Intern with Ventura Innovation, a student-led global pitch competition. There she contributes to outreach and marketing initiatives that help young innovators turn ideas into platforms for creativity, confidence, and real-world problem-solving. This experience has deepened her conviction that emerging leaders should not only participate in their communities but actively build pathways for others to succeed.

Her academic and extracurricular pursuits—including Mu Alpha Theta, the Medical Club, and induction into Tri-M Music Honor Society—reflect a well-rounded commitment to scholarship, mentorship, and hands-on learning. Recognized through awards such as the RAKS Member Recognition Award, Academic Letter (4.3+ GPA), NHS induction, and the College Board National Recognition Program, Ananya brings both excellence and humility to every role she undertakes.

With a growing foundation in leadership, service, scientific inquiry, and entrepreneurial outreach, Ananya Bathula exemplifies the next generation of community-minded student leaders.

She joins the Soaring Eagle Alliance Student Council ready to empower peers, amplify youth voices, and help create opportunities that allow others to soar.

“The strongest approach to youth engagement begins by investing in the formation of young people before asking them to invest in institutions.”

Isabella Aversano is the founder and program director of The Merit Society, a statewide initiative in Virginia that connects young people to meaningful volunteer opportunities, career development, internships, leadership experiences, and professionally enriching networking opportunities.

The Merit Society’s model links volunteer service with career growth, networking, and civic engagement, while encouraging a thoughtful study of history, philosophy, media literacy, public policy, and the foundational principles that shape strong communities and free societies. Isabella believes the most effective approach to youth engagement begins by investing in the personal formation of young people before inviting them to invest in institutions.

Drawing on her own experiences as a U.S. Senate Page, U.S. Congressional Intern, President of the National Honor Society, Student Representative to the Prince William County School Board, and Student Liaison to the Northern Virginia Community College Board, Isabella launched The Merit Society after identifying a clear gap: many motivated students navigate academic and professional environments that can feel isolating or limited in opportunity, yet return home to find few structured pathways connecting them to long-term growth, community, and leadership.

Through The Merit Society, she works to close that gap by fostering merit-based development, service, and civic formation for the next generation of student leaders.

Isabella Aversano joins the NextGen Eagle Leaders Circle as a proven architect of opportunity—bringing the vision, experience, and results of The Merit Society to help shape a new generation of civic-minded student leaders.

“Leadership is about creating opportunities for others and strengthening communities through service.”

Aanya Reddy is a driven junior whose passion for healthcare, research, and service already sets her apart. She has published original research on nanoparticle-based drug delivery for atherosclerosis and gained hands-on clinical experience shadowing at Commonwealth Urology and Vision 2020 EyeCare Clinic—supporting patient care, documentation, and laboratory procedures with precision and compassion. Through these experiences in ophthalmology, urology, and cardiothoracic surgery, she has learned the lasting importance of teamwork, compassion, and lifelong learning.

Aanya hopes to pursue a career in cardiothoracic surgery while continuing to explore innovation, compassionate patient care, and service. A recipient of the prestigious Presidential Gold Medal for Volunteering, Aanya seamlessly balances rigorous academics, varsity swimming, tutoring at Kumon Learning Center, and deep community impact. She has dedicated more than 700 service hours across health, youth empowerment, disability support, education, and community causes with discipline, purpose, and a clear vision of advancing healthcare access for everyone.

As a committed student leader, she serves as President of Teens with Heart Songs, Treasurer of Kaveri Kannada Sanga, Ambassador for Ringing in Hope, Senior Volunteer at Ashby Ponds Assisted Living, and was Captain for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (her team raised $260,000).

She also holds leadership and membership roles in HOSA Future Health Professionals (a global student organization that builds leadership, technical skills, and career readiness for students pursuing medical and health science fields), Student Council, Sources of Strength, the Youth Advisory Council, and NBIA (Neurodegeneration with Brain Iron Accumulation) Research.

Soaring Eagle Alliance welcomes Aanya Reddy to the NextGen Eagle Leaders Circle, recognizing her pioneering research, clinical insight, and unwavering dedication to transforming healthcare for the next generation.

“I look for a gap where people need support and build something concrete to close it.”

Vilva V. Mahadevan is a driven sophomore in Virginia, whose leadership is defined by action. As Founder and Co-President of SafeZone Mental Health, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, he has built an organization focused on mental health awareness and stigma reduction, with particular attention to men’s mental health. Within few months, he has established partnerships with Wellness Loudoun and Active Minds, launched 3 community events, recruited and managed a team of more than 10 volunteers, and grown the organization’s social media following presence.

Beyond SafeZone, Vilva serves as Vice President of Operations for Smart Cents, a financial literacy club teaching practical money management, budgeting, and investing to younger students. As a Marketing Intern with Electro x ZenBodi, he has secured four new clients through direct outreach and content creation reaching athletes across the United States. Earlier, he designed and led a six-month donation initiative for Mobile Hope that collected 291 pounds of essential supplies for the local homeless population—work recognized with a formal Letter of Appreciation.

An All-Honors student with a 4.14 weighted GPA, Vilva is three years ahead in mathematics and currently enrolled in AP Calculus AB as a sophomore. He is a DECA State Qualifier and District third-place finisher in Principles of Finance, a three-time Impack Award recipient, and a competitive swimmer who has qualified for Virginia State Championships and the Junior Olympics.

Vilva brings a combination of entrepreneurial drive, operational discipline, and service. Soaring Eagle Alliance welcomes him to the NextGen Eagle Leaders Circle as a student who does not wait for opportunity—he creates it.
